I’ve had a fantastic start to the Collabro UK tour! Every audience has given such a warm welcome and have been so very responsive towards the songs chosen for the show! I even had the pleasure of meeting some Collabro and Lucy Kay supporters outside the pavilion after the concert! It was absolutely freezing and the snow was falling fast but everyone waited until they had seen us! I even got the pleasure to meet one very special fan and that was sweet Thomas!! Unfortunately his phone had died just as I came out but luckily his brother in laws phone had a full battery and I finally got my phone with him! I feel very blessed to have such support especially from people who haven’t really experienced opera /classical music before… It really is a beautiful feeling to know I have shared my love of music with others!
Next stop is a city I know so very well as I spent most of my life growing up there – Nottingham at the Royal Concert Hall! I’ve spent years performing on that stage with the Cantamus Girls Choir and that’s basically where my love for classical music was nurtured from a very young age! So that concert is going to be a very special night for me indeed! I can’t wait to see all of my family and friends in the audience!!
Love Lucy Xx
